Manchester City Football Club Academy

The MCFC City Football Academy is the cornerstone of the Club’s vision to deliver youth development and sustainability and regenerate the local area in economic and environmental terms. Including 16.5 pitches, education and world class medical and sports science services, accommodation and commercial office space. Pierre Angulaire were appointed as Client Project Manager for the overall masterplan as well as active work streams to deliver the site assembly, remediation, delivery of the Manchester Institute of Health and Performance, Beswick Community Hub, Connell Sixth Form Academy and pedestrian walkway bridge.

The site is located adjacent to the Etihad Stadium as part of the Sports City Campus and required engagement with a large group of key stakeholders and the communication and reporting to this group demanded of such a significant project in the City. We managed the delivery the regeneration of a large brownfield site, including the land assembly, remediation and development.
