Becketwell is a significant, comprehensive city center regeneration scheme located in Derby being delivered by St James Securities alongside Derby City Council. The £200M mixed-use scheme includes multiple development phases incorporating the 3,500 capacity Becketwell Performance Venue, a 259 Built-to-Rent scheme on behalf of Grainger, 450 bed purpose built student accommodation, a 150 key hotel, multistorey car park, grade A commercial space and high specification public realm.
As a true city-centre regeneration masterplan, the nature of the multi-use scheme dictates a diverse set of stakeholders, funding approaches and delivery strategies to realise the individual projects. In our role as programme and project manager we have responsibility for the organisation, management and delivery of the client’s overall vision. Retaining control of the diverse project teams, contractors, funders and other stakeholders whilst maintaining a focus on individual, often divergent project objectives at the same time as delivering the overall programme.
