The project seeks to create an additional teaching and learning space for the staff and students of the School of Animal Care and Land Management (part of Leeds City College) as the educational needs of the city’s young people continue to grow. The college has been based at Home Farm, Temple Newsam for a number of years and is presently past their capacity limit to deliver effective curriculum teaching and are in need to add high quality indoor space. The works includes the Development of a new build education facility and refurbishment of Rose Lodge within the Temple Newsam Gardens. The new building is to be design and built following the principles of, and reaching the Passivhaus standard.

This unique project is funded through DfE grant and is being delivered within the Temple Newsam estate and in the context of Listed building and the site's heritage and conservation status alongside ecological constraints. A hands on and collaborative approach has been valuable to securing the support of the myriad stakeholders. We are providing holistic seconded services to the client organisation to drive the delivery stage; acting as Client Representative and integrated with the incumbent team in a combined Project Manager and NEC PM role.
